I imagine there will be healthy competition between the allies to be the first to achieve objective (i.e more impetus) but outward hostilities doesnt seem like a great stategy

Any pointers for Abwehr type outfits? I don't fancy ruining a suit and when I put on an old, battered leather jacket with my fedora, I just looked like a poor mans' Indiana Jones, not a spy!

I say go for the long brown trenchcoat with trilby look like I suggested in the axis section. I think you and your brother could make quite sinster looking agents. 
Actually, what trouser length do you wear? I have some old suit trousers I picked up from a charity shop which are too short for me but they may fit you ok.

Cheers Rich. I've got a long (real German) leather trench coat I may wear but would be worried about getting it dirty tbh. I'm a bit of a short arse for trousers, I think 30" inside leg if I recall the last pair of trousers I bought.

Well these trousers are 29" (make me look like a pirate ) and a bit large on the waist but might be alright. There are plenty of trenchcoats on ebay for not too much money that would suit the look.
The trousers will probably fit me. Funny you should mention Ebay... 
I think I'll adopt the "Luger in the pocket" approach to my weapons on the day, or an MP40 with a couple of mags in my pocket.

I've got a black leather trenchcoat (about 40-42") that i offered to HS for the game, if he doesn't want it you're welcome to it, and i don't mind if it gets trashed.
Heh, don't expect us Brits to give Kermit any cooperation...
Are the Yanks and Brits going to be in direct competition then? That could turn out interesting, might turn into a 3 way royal rumble.
